My new favorite banh mi place in Modesto! The bread is literally the best part. The texture is amazing and they actually make their own bread. Don’t get why ppl complain about the filling, the size of the bread itself is huge compared to the other banh mi places in Modesto. I feel its unfair comparing amount of filling when the size of the bread is considerably bigger. At $8ish a sandwich it’s a steal, the owners are so sweet too! They gave my daughter a bread while we were waiting. Def will come back!

Really enjoyed the food here! The banh mi is tasty, and we especially love the freshly baked bread—it’s so good that we even buy it plain to enjoy with other foods at home. My only suggestion would be to add a little more meat to the sandwiches so they feel a bit more stuffed. We really want to see this shop succeed, and we’ll definitely be back to support them. ❤️

It’s a nice place ,the atmosphere is friendly and the sandwich is really yummy .

Had to try out this new banh mi sandwhich place. They have a modest menu here, which I didn't mind. I ordered the char siu pork and it was delicious! It was not the same flavor as other bbq porks I've had. Yum Mi has traditional flavors which I enjoy. The bread was fresh and perfectly baked. One thing I noticed while I was waiting was that the people who ordered the angry beef plate left nothing behind, like completely empty plates. I will need to try that dish on my next visit in.
